Guacamole
This Guacamole is a creamy, delicious, and nutritious dip that both kids and adults will love! Made with ripe avocados and simple, fresh ingredients, it's a great source of healthy fats, vitamins, and fiber. Mild enough for younger palates, but still full of flavor, this guacamole is perfect for dipping pita chips, veggies, or spreading on tacos and sandwiches.
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/2 small onion
1/2 small tomato
Juice of 1/2 lime
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 small garlic clove
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (optional)
Directions:
1. Scoop avocados into a food processor.
2. Add all remaining ingredients.
3. Pulse until creamy or leave slightly chunky.
4. Serve immediately or refrigerate with plastic wrap pressed against the guac to prevent browning.
Notes:
To keep your guacamole from browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface before storing it in the fridge.
