Air Fryer Lemony Sumac Chicken Wings
These crispy, flavorful chicken wings are a high-protein dinner your kids will devour! The tangy lemon and aromatic sumac give the wings a zesty, refreshing twist, while the air fryer ensures they're perfectly crispy without the extra oil. High in protein and quick to make, these wings are an excellent choice for a nutritious meal that's both fun to eat and easy to prepare. Ingredients:

5 1/3 ozs Chicken Wings

1/8 tsp Baking Powder

1/8 tsp Sea Salt

1/8 tsp Garlic Powder

1/8 tsp Ground Sumac

1/16 oz Avocado Oil Spray

1/3 tsp Lemon Zest


Directions:

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF (205ºC).

2. Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl. Add the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and sumac. Toss well to coat the wings.

3. Place the wings in the air fryer in a single layer. Spray with oil. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, flipping once, until they are crispy.

4. Garnish with lemon zest and enjoy!


Notes:

Leftovers

Best enjoyed fresh. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to two days and reheat in the air fryer.

Serving Size

One serving is approximately two to three whole chicken wings.

No Air Fryer

Cook in the oven at 425ºF (220ºC) for about 35 to 40 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.

Additional Toppings

Top with chopped parsley. Serve with whipped feta or a creamy dip on the side.

One gram (or 1/16 oz) of avocado oil spray is equal to a one-second spray.
