Each week, your family will explore simple, fun activities designed to help build healthy habits together. These challenges are meant to encourage connection, movement, creativity, and small steps that can make a big difference over time.
Pick the activities that work best for your family, celebrate your progress, and most importantly — have fun doing it together!
Move Your Way
This week, your family is on a mission to discover the kinds of movement everyone enjoys most!
Together, try at least one new movement activity that your family hasn't done recently. It could be something simple or something completely new.
Ideas include:
A family dance party
Backyard games
A bike ride or nature walk
Yoga session
A scavenger hunt
Swimming
A family workout video
After each activity, take a few minutes to talk together:
What did we enjoy most?
How did our bodies feel afterward?
Did we laugh, smile, or feel more connected?
Would we like to do this activity again?
At the end of the week, have each family member choose their Favorite Family Movement and make a plan to include it in your routine again this summer.
This week, we explored the many ways movement can support our health and well-being.
Whether your family enjoyed dancing, stretching, playing outside, or trying something new, every opportunity to move helped strengthen your bodies, support your minds, and create meaningful time together.
REMEMBER:
Movement shows up in more ways than we often realize
Even small bursts of activity can shift energy and mood
Different types of movement can feel right at different times
Shared movement can create simple, meaningful connection
As you continue through the summer, keep noticing how different activities make you feel. Keep exploring, keep playing, and keep celebrating all the ways your family loves to move. Every step, stretch, jump, and dance is another opportunity to build healthy habits and create lasting memories together.
